Ubisoft is the main developer of I AM Alive. They have created many hit video game series, such as Assassin's Creed and Prince of Persia.

It was founded in 1986 in France by the Guillemot family as a computer game publisher. Yves Guillemot, current chairman and CEO of the company, made deals with at the time young companies such as Electronic Arts to publish games released by them, quickly expanding their market into Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States by the end of the decade.

In 2000-2002, Ubisoft began buying older companies, such as Red Storm Entertainment and Gamebusters who would either work for them, or be sold for new IP graphics, which was the case for The Learning Company as the IPs received from that led to the creation of the Prince of Persia series.

I AM Alive developmentEdit

The predecessor of Ubisoft in the making of I AM Alive was Darkworks, which came up with the idea and later, after a mutual decision between both companies, decided that the game would be completed by Ubisoft, in the Shanghai studio.

The overall product was smaller, but was released as an XBLA and PSN title on March 7, 2012. It quickly earned fame as it reached the top 10 Most Wanted Downloadable Content on XBLA reaching 1st in three weeks, a feat not even popular arcade game Toy Soldiers could do. On March 29, 2012, I AM Alive grossed $1,000,000.
